Okay, not sure where this came from, but, there is a Hawaiian style outrigger canoeing club on Key Biscayne, in Miami. I'm thinking maybe the older Hawaiian population has retired to Miami and the lack of waves on the Atlantic makes for easier rowing?

You have to hand it to the Miamians though, they look just as intense as their Hawaiian counter parts!
